Do you struggle with packing for a trip? We live in the world where airlines are charging for checked bags (aside from Southwest of course). There are even budget airlines like Frontier and Spirit who charge you for a carryon bag (personal bag estimated 18x14x8 is free). Not to mention, who wants to lug around a bigger suitcase than they need to?
There are so many methods out there on internet that talk about the best way to pack your bag. Thousands of videos will appear went you search packing hacks on YouTube. I have personally always been a roll your clothes kind of packer. I know there are many people who use packing cubes as well to maximize their packing space. Recently I needed to up my game as I had a work trip in July on Delta. My company paid for the ticket and Delta was the cheapest by far. A few days later I happened to be scrolling through Facebook and came across an advertisement for Rume. I was immediately drawn to the organization method of the compartments but was a little skeptical about the amount of clothes that I’d be able to fit in it. It was on sale for $19.95 so I figured I’d give it a try.
To my surprise, this organizer has become a life saver. I was in Texas for 6 days and 5 nights with different festivities planned so it wasn’t as simple as one outfit per day. This was my packing list:
- 3 dresses
- 7 pairs of underwear
- 3 bras
- a swimsuit
- cover up
- black ballet flats
- flip flops
- 4 pairs of shorts
- 8 shirts
- 1 pair of leggings
- Cardigan (meeting rooms get cold)
- Curling wand
With the Rume Organizer I was able to fit all of this in a small carry on size bag (the smallest that came with my set). My suitcase is also a hard shell without a zipper extender. I think one of my favorite features were the straps that allowed me to hang it in a closet. I wasn’t constantly digging through a big and was able to keep everything organized.
I was super impressed with this product. I bought this on my own and was not paid to review so this is my complete honest opinion. I will leave the link below so that you can go check it out. If you have any questions about this product just leave a comment below or send me a message!
