Oasis of the Seas Review

April 4, 2018

I can’t believe it has been over a month since I got off of Oasis of the Seas.  I’ve spent these snowy days completing my Youtube daily vlogs for my Oasis of the Seas sailing.  You can get a preview of different activities and food onboard through these videos.  I did want to spend some time explaining my experience for all of you.

I will be honest, I was a little nervous going on this monster size ship.  After being on Anthem of the Seas in November, I wasn’t very optimistic.  Yes I was excited to go on vacation but at the same time Anthem was so big and the service wasn’t as good as smaller ships in the fleet so it made me a little cautious.  I’m pleased to say that I was dead wrong.  There are times when you are on Oasis and you almost forget you are on a ship.

The Room:  I absolutely loved being midship on Deck 8.  This location provided easy access to Central and the Boardwalk.  The balcony rooms were pretty spacious and are easily opened for connecting balconies.  I loved being able to put my hammock up and relax with the sounds/sights of the ocean (check out my previous post on hammock life).

The Neighborhoods:  The neighborhoods on the Oasis class make these ships truly unique and special.  I loved Central Park.  I frequently ate light fare at the Park Cafe and would even just go sit there during the day.  The Boardwalk is amazing.  I loved going at night time to see it all lit up.  I’d usually go for a ride on the carousel and then grab a hot dog to go!

Favorite Bar: I personally loved the Champagne Bar.  They have lots of dessert cocktails which were right up my alley!

Favorite Food Venue:  The award goes to 150 Central Park, hands down!  Best meal I’ve ever had at sea.  Make sure you check out the review video on my channel for clips from the night!

I was so impressed by this ship that I booked another sailing on her sister ship, Allure of the Seas, this year.  I cannot wait to take my daughter on this ship.  There is still so much to do!  Make sure you check out my Instagram for my photos while I’m on the go @haleewithaflair.
