I don’t know about all of you but I could use a Thermal Suite Package right about now. Actually, as I sit here and write this during a snow storm in good old Western New York, I would take a cruise in general. Today we are doing a throw back to my December sailing on the newly amplified Oasis of the Seas. Unlike the other classes of ships on Royal, the Oasis Class has a full spa with a thermal suite. After getting spoiled in Aqua Class on Celebrity Cruises, it is almost a requirement for my sailings now. So needless to say I’m bringing my Oasis of the Seas Thermal Suite package review.
What is included?
Prior to sailing you can purchase a single or couple access pass to the thermal suite in Royal Caribbean’s cruise planner online. For my sailing it was $119 for solo and $199 for a couple. This is for unlimited thermal suite use from the time they open around 8am to close at 11pm. They do sell a limited number of passes so it doesn’t get too crowded.
The Thermal Suite
The thermal suite has 4 thermal heated loungers, two showers (both have different water stream themes i.e. rain forest etc), three different sauna/steam rooms and towels for your use. I enjoy doing a body scrub when I sit in a steam room as it leaves my skin feeling so good after doing it for a week. You can bring your own scrub or buy one from the spa. Keep in mind that if the thermal suite is busy, do not hog the loungers. Limit yourself to about 20 minutes at a time when busy.
What is that package?
I booked my thermal pass onboard on embarkation day. On embarkation day they offered a promo for $250 that included the couples pass, a one hour hot tub suite and a one hour mud spa shower room. This can vary by sailing so don’t hesitate to ask. You had to schedule your sessions throughout the week. They could be scheduled together or separate.
Hot Tub Session Review
The Hot Tub Sessions are private suites in the spa near the thermal suite. You get access to the room for a hour. There is a shower and a jet tub in the room with robes and two glasses of champagne. I would recommend doing the hot tub room before the mud spa room.
Mud Spa Session Review
The shower rooms are near the hot tub rooms in the spa. The spa staff lines up the mud mask and scrubs for your body as well as a skincare regimen for men and women. There is a shower and a couples steam room in this room. It is a nice and intimate experience for a couple and is also relaxing for the solo traveler. You have this room for a hour too.
Oasis of the Seas Thermal Suite Package Review
This was a pleasant surprise. This is a great spa option for couples who want a more intimate experience. I like accessing the thermal suite during the week for some rest and relaxation. This thermal pass on an itinerary that I don’t have a lot of plans for is a no brained. The best times to go are first thing in the morning and during the lunch rush. Port days are also going to be less busy as well. I would highly recommend this package and do it again.
Would you try this experience?

Love your review of Oasis thermal spa. You provide more information than on RCCL’s site. How large is the thermal suite? From your pictures it looks like it is very small. Also, is the mud room included in the thermal suite?
Halee with a Flair says
There really isn’t a lot of information on their site. I felt very compelled to write this up lol

I have done the thermal suite on other cruise lines, this would be my first time on RCL. Per the site, you can currently only go for 15 minutes per day. Is that correct? I can’t believe costs $199 for a couple for 15 minutes a day. Please say this isn’t so. Thank you ?

I’ve never been kicked out at 15 minutes lol
