- Behavior Collars: Unless you have a dog that is pure perfection 100% of the time, I really recommend these collars. We use them with our girls on just the beep level. Our girls are very well behaved but get distracted in new places with new smells. The beep is great for redirecting.
- Food and Water Supplies: Pack enough food and water for the duration of your trip. Collapsible food and water bowls are convenient and take up less space in the car. - Poop Bags: There is no easy way to put it, there is no poop fairy. You should always be prepared with a lot of poop bags wherever you go.

Familiar scents and textures will help them relax and feel secure in unfamiliar surroundings. Opt for easily washable bedding to keep things clean throughout the journey. We used our bedding to also cover furniture in the hotel room.

Include items such as bandages, antiseptic wipes, tweezers for tick removal, and any necessary medications your dog may require.
