Happy Father’s Day to Fathers of all kinds!
This last week has been absolutely insane. I apologize for the lack of posts and the social media silence. I started a wonderful new career where I’m able to take my love for hotels sales and marry it with being able to work from home. I’m truly blessed to be at this point in my life where I’m able to bring home a good income and be able to spend more time with my family. The commute to my previous job was easily costing me a hour to a hour and a half every day.
So next up on the itinerary is going to be a work/play trip to Austin, Texas. I have a work retreat trip that will be going on in the area. I’m going to be flying down to spend the weekend with a good friend before the work retreat begins. Make sure you are following me on Periscope for live video action. I have heard nothing but good things about Austin. I was told since I loved Dallas that I was going to LOVE Austin so I’m very excited!
A few days after I get back from Austin, I will be taking Olivia back out to Bean Town. That’s right folks, another Boston trip with some new highlights. We will be going to the New England Aquarium and a baseball game at Fenway! Olivia’s birthday is always so difficult to plan in the summer since so many families are traveling and going to special events. I decided to axe the normal party and take her on a trip. She loves traveling and I have some great birthday surprises planned for her along the way! If you guys were able to see her Easter surprise video on Periscope, I can bet you that this is going to top that!
This summer I plan on doing a NYS Parks series with my Empire Pass. There is going to be a lot of hiking, rafting, waterfalls and beautiful mountains! The Empire Pass will get you into almost any state park for one price of $65 for the decal. Most state parks are about $8-$12 for admission. We live near a few so that cost is easily made up during the year.
Once the summer starts to calm down we have a Halloween adventure planned for a weekend in October. We will be heading over to Sleepy Hollow, NY to see their pumpkin blaze. I have never been but I have seen photos and it looks amazing! During the month of October I will be back up in Toronto at least once if not possibly twice. I can never get enough of that city!
December brings a possible trip north for my family clan. Right now I have a tentative trip planned for a weekend in Montreal. Montreal is said to have beautiful Christmas sights and scenes. I have never been up to Quebec side of Canada so I’m very excited to give it a go for some Christmas fun.
I will be announcing some cruise fun on Periscope later today. There will be some future review posts coming up as well as some tips/tricks travel posts in between some of my travels. If there is a particular topic that you would like me to tackle, just let me know 🙂
