Do you book with a Travel Agent?

March 1, 2017

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

I am so excited to bring this video to all of you.  This travel agent Q&A is primarily based on cruising.  I had a chance to video chat with an amazing travel agent named Jason Poole from Cruise Planners.  I have a traveled a lot and he still taught me a thing or two.  I have included the times below if you want to skip through the video to a specific part.

Booking with a travel agent has many great advantages from price monitoring to extra onboard credit just to name a few things.  Even for the seasoned traveler, booking with a travel agent can give you peace of mind.  All travel agents are not created equally.  Make sure you take your time and go with your feelings.  I like someone who is easily accessible and as you will find, Jason definitely fits that bid for me!

My late mother in law was an extraordinary old school travel agent and her daughter is no slouch in that department. We don’t always use a travel agent but we do like one for a cruise, even though we set up our excursions ourselves. We do a mix of cruise line arrangements, private tour companies and self guided.
